“I Dream of Jeannie” star Barbara Eden honored her “sweet” former co-star Patrick Muldoon with a touching message after his shocking death on Sunday.
“So saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Patrick Muldoon who I costarred with in 2019’s ‘My Adventures with Santa,’” Eden, 94, wrote on Instagram Monday.
In her post, she shared a photo of her and Muldoon with their co-stars Denise Richards and Erick Devine.
She continued: “Patrick was a sweet man who was very personable.”
“I enjoyed the time we spent between takes and just enjoying each others company in general during the production of the film. He made the experience even more fun. While the passing of a loved one is never easy, it is especially difficult when it’s unexpected and sudden as I understand Patrick’s was.”
Finally, the actress shared that her “thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends.”
Eden joins Muldoon’s former “Days of Our Lives” co-star Lisa Rinnain sharing public tributes for the late star in light of the sad news.
The news of his passing reportedly hit his ex, Denise Richards, very hard as sources told the Daily Mail the “Wild Things” actress is “devastated” and “can’t stop crying” on Monday.
Muldoon died at age 57 on Sunday following a sudden heart attack.
Per TMZ, his sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, claimed Patrick had spent Sunday morning with his partner, Miriam Rothbart, at their Beverly Hills home before he went to hop in the shower.
Because he had been taking too long, Rothbart decided to check on him. She later discovered him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
Muldoon was pronounced dead on the scene when paramedics arrived.
