Peter Falk’s daughter Jacqueline Falk died by suicide on Monday. She was 60.

Jacqueline hanged herself in a Los Angeles home, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office.

TMZ was the first to break the news Wednesday.

The outlet noted it is unclear whether Jacqueline left a note.

She and sister Catherine were adopted by the “Colombo” alum and his wife, Alyce Mayo, after the couple’s 1960 wedding.

Jacqueline largely remained out of the public eye.

Catherine, for her part, was a private investigator who campaigned for legislation for familial visitation rights after becoming estranged from Falk near the end of his life.

Falk and Mayo, who met while attending Syracuse University, were married until 1976.

The following year, Falk married Shera Danese.

They were together until the “Princess Bride” star’s death in June 2011, and the actor’s headstone reads, “I’m not here. I’m home with Shera.”

Danese, 76, became her partner’s conservator in 2009 after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

The actress frequently worked on “Columbo” alongside her husband, making the most guest appearances of anyone in the series.

The show premiered on NBC in 1971, three years after the titular character, Lieutenant Columbo, first appeared in the “Prescription: Murder” pilot movie.

While the series’ NBC run ended in 1978, the ABC revival lasted from 1989 to 2003.
