Britney Spears’ rep is shutting down claims that the Princess of Pop potentially posed any danger during her bizarre restaurant scene on Wednesday night.

“This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors,” her rep said in a statement to Page Six Thursday.

“At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife,” they continued. “She was cutting her hamburger in half.”

Reports surfaced Thursday morning that the 44-year-old singer “was raising her voice, screaming and even barking at times” in a “chaotic” scene during her Wednesday night visit to Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks neighborhood of LA.

Spears reportedly dined at the restaurant with a woman and a man. At one point, a restaurant patron told TMZ the singer walked by their table with a knife, prompting fears that she might harm someone with the sharp utensil.

The man with Spears was also said to have lit up a cigarette near the door, prompting staff to ask him to put it out.

By the end of the scene, an eyewitness said the singer’s table looked “like a toddler had been there.”

The update comes just a month after Spears checked herself into a rehab facility following her March DUI arrest. She was seen for the first time on April 30 after completing her rehab stay.

At the time, an insider close to the pop star told Page Six that Spears was “doing really well” and “excited to start afresh” after her rehab stint.

“Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,” the source shared.

A second source told us that the singer — whose sons reportedly pushed her to enter rehab— is “continuing counseling remotely.”

Earlier this month, the “Gimme More” hitmaker pleaded guilty to a charge from her DUI arrest on May 4, though she did not attend the court hearing.

Spears’ attorney took a deal in exchange for the singer’s charge to be reduced to “wet reckless,” which is common in cases for first-time offenders with a low blood alcohol count and no prior crashes.

The judge ordered Spears to a one-year informal probationary grant and to complete a three-month alcohol school.
