Netflix has confirmed the end of the hit TV series “Emily In Paris” after a memorable six-season run.

The streaming giant officially confirmed that its hit romantic comedy series starring Lily Collins will conclude after its upcoming sixth season, finally dropping the curtain on the globetrotting adventures of beloved Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper.

After shifting locations from Paris to Rome in season four, and another move to Greece for season six, the decision to end things before finding another country to hot spot to gives the show a definitive finish line, allowing the writers to craft a proper finale rather than leaving audiences with another open-ended cliffhanger – like if they finally end up back in Paris, where Emily belongs.

Netflix’s announcement coincided with the first day of production for the final episodes in Greece, ensuring fans will get a planned and satisfying farewell to the series that became a global sensation upon its debut in 2020.

In a heartfelt statement, series creator Darren Star expressed his deep appreciation for the show’s six-year run.

“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime,” he gushed.
